The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both team members and patrons. The Controller is also responsible for overseeing Revenue Audit, Cage, and Purchasing Departments. This position supports property leadership through financial and operational analysis, forecasting support, trend reporting, and control oversight.ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Work effectively and courteously with fellow team members. Supports corporate with audit requests from internal and external auditors. Maintains compliance with standard operating and internal control procedures. Assists in facilitating the monthly strategic review meetings with General Manager and all departments. Participates in the annual budgeting process. Analyzes historical and current operating data to identify trends, explain variances, and prepare reports and recommendations that support management decision-making. Prepares and coordinates the property forecasting process including monitoring trends and identifying other business impacts to ensure the forecast accuracy throughout the fiscal year and researching variances to forecast and plan. Use of professional, independent judgment relation to financial policies, issues, and procedures. Directs and oversees the operations, staffing, compliance, internal controls, and performance of the Revenue Audit, Cage, and Purchasing departments. Issue performance documentation, including disciplinary actions and performance reviews. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, Company policies in an ethical manner, and require others to do the same. Develops and maintains recurring and ad hoc analytical reports for property leadership, including labor, revenue, expense, and departmental performance trends. Ensures compliance with gaming regulations, company policies, internal controls, and audit standards applicable to Cage, Revenue Audit, and Purchasing operations. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use a computer for prolonged periods, and occasionally walk the property. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15-25 lbs. Must be able to work in varied temperatures and noise levels.Skill Requirements:
Must be proficient in advanced Excel skills. Must be able to use various computer software programs such as SAP, SmartDocs, Fiori, Blackline, and Word. Must be able to meet and establish deadlines. Must be able to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables. Must be able to review, comprehend, and communicate various policies and procedures including Federal and State regulations, publications, documents, and correspondence. Must be able to review and comprehend Sarbanes-Oxley, IRS, FASB, and GAAP publications. Must be able to solve complex problems.Work Environment:
Must be able to multi-task and complete tasks in an interruptive environment under time pressures. Must be able to communicate effectively with patrons and all levels of team members. Must be able to work in a smoking environment with loud noise.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education:
4-7 years of progressive experience in finance, casino operations, accounting, revenue audit, cage operations, purchasing, or related leadership roles; bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Casino accounting experience is preferred.Other :
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 1 Missouri Gaming License. Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position. Must complete all required company training.
