Plant Controller

We have an Excellent career opportunity for aPlant Controllerto join a leading Company located inNorth Kansas City, MO. + Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial results + Own the monthly close process, including preparation and review of reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules + Prepare quarterly reforecasts by integrating historical performance with forward-looking assumptions + Proactively analyze variances and clearly communicate risks and opportunities against budget and forecast expectations + Evaluate existing accounting processes, recommend improvements, and implement scalable, best practice solutions + Direct the annual budgeting process, including review of budget submissions and development of supporting documentation + Oversee internal control frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting standards + Coordinate and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors + Prepare financial reports required by regulatory agencies and executive leadership + Partner closely with operational leadership as a strategic finance advisor to drive performance and decision-making + Build, lead, and retain a high-performing accounting team through effective hiring, coaching, and development + CPA certification required + Big 4 public accounting background, with progression into industry and advancement to Controller or senior finance leadership roles + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibility + Prior experience in automotive or manufacturing environments strongly preferred + Deep knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls + Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights + Proven To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
