Job Description

The Director of Managed Care Modeling and Performance is a strategic leader responsible for advancing Mercy's financial and operational performance across managed care initiatives. This role drives economic strategy, supports contract optimization, and ensures readiness for value-based and risk-based models. You will partner with executive, clinical, and operational leaders to translate complex data into actionable strategies—optimizing reimbursement, improving outcomes, and strengthening Mercy's long-term sustainability. What You'll Do
- Lead managed care modeling and analytics to support contract strategy and performance optimization
- Drive financial performance across value-based and risk-bearing reimbursement models
- Partner with clinical, operational, and finance leaders to ensure readiness and success in managed care contracts
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for executive leaders
- Develop and execute strategies that achieve key financial and performance targets
- Provide leadership on complex financial and operational challenges
- Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, timely results on strategic initiatives
