Job Description

Private Credit Vice President A NC-based Private Credit firm is seeking a Vice President to join its growing team. The firm invests in middle-market companies and manages over a billion in committed capital. With an industry-agnostic approach, this opportunity offers broad exposure across sectors including business services, consumer, industrials, and manufacturing. As a Vice President, you will play a key leadership role on a lean deal team, with significant responsibility across the full investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead execution of market and industry research to support investment theses Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and return analyses for potential investments Drive due diligence processes and coordinate with third-party advisors Present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee Monitor and support portfolio companies post-close, including board participation and strategic initiatives Mentor and manage junior team members
Qualifications:
5-7 years of relevant experience, including Investment Banking (M&A) and/or Private Debt/Credit or Private Equity investing Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills (modeling test required) Proven ability to lead transactions and manage cross-functional teams Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, industrials, manufacturing, and/or consumer preferred
