About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President to join our Leveraged Finance team as part of our Corporate & Investment Banking Group. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com In this role, you will: Be responsible for independently working with clients and handling complex transactions Have well-developed knowledge of products and services, marketplace, and clients Be directly involved in the origination, structuring, and execution of Corporate and Investment Banking products and services for existing clients and prospects Assist in delivering the full range of products and services to clients through formulating financial strategy and policy with clients at the executive management level, managing client relationships, and executing mandated assignments in Bank, Institutional and High Yield capital markets Collaborate and consult with Investment Banking Coverage, Corporate and Commercial Banking partners Manage Analysts and Associates on deal and pitch teams
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Prior investment banking experience including Leveraged Finance product coverage Strong analytical and quantitative skills Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to interact with all levels of an organization Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals A Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or related fields Strong credit skills Strong knowledge of debt capital markets Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel as needed Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements Visa sponsorship is not available Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents. Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.

  • $275,000 Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $185,000.00
