Automotive Finance Director Nissan of Hendersonville is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and compliance-focused Finance Director to lead our Finance & Insurance (F&I) department. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving profitability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction in the financing process. Compensation Annual Salary Range:
$120,000
- $160,000 (Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus structure)
Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Profitability:
Direct the overall financial operations of the F&I department, setting and achieving goals for vehicle financing penetration, product sales, and departmental income.
Compliance & Ethics:
Ensure 100% compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Red Flags Rule, and dealership policies. Maintain the highest standard of ethical conduct.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of F&I Managers, fostering a professional, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment.
Lender Relations:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions to secure the best financing terms and product offerings for our customers.
Deal Structuring:
Review and finalize all financing and leasing deals, ensuring proper documentation, accurate booking, and timely funding to manage Contracts-in-Transit (CIT) effectively.
Process Improvement:
Continuously analyze F&I performance metrics (DOC, VPP, PRU) and implement strategies to improve efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.
Sales Collaboration:
Work closely with the Sales Management team to optimize the customer turnover process and maximize deal profitability while maintaining CSI scores. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Automotive F&I Director or Senior Finance Manager in a high-volume dealership setting. Expert knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products (e.g., VSC, GAP, Tire & Wheel, etc.). Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulations pertaining to automotive finance. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills . Proficiency with dealership management systems ( DMS ) such as CDK, Dealertrack, or DealerSocket. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding finance department goals. Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.
