S. & Mexico Operations is responsible for leading all financial activities across the United States and Mexico while serving as the primary finance liaison to a global parent organization. This role ensures financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and operational transparency across bi‑national operations, while aligning local execution with global finance standards, systems, and reporting requirements. The VP of Finance plays a critical role in ERP leadership, systems integration, and cross‑border financial harmonization, supporting growth, operational scalability, and local/global governance. Key Responsibilities Bi‑National Financial Leadership (U.S. & Mexico) Lead finance operations across U.S. and Mexico entities, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, and controls. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across multiple legal entities and currencies. Serve as a strategic finance partner to U.S. and Mexico operational leadership. Oversee local finance teams while ensuring alignment with global finance policies and expectations. Global Reporting & Parent Entity Alignment Act as the primary interface between U.S./Mexico operations and the global finance organization. Deliver financial reporting, forecasts, and analyses in accordance with global standards, timelines, and formats. Ensure compliance with global accounting policies (US GAAP, IFRS, or hybrid frameworks as applicable). Support global audits, reviews, and internal control assessments. Translate global financial requirements into actionable local processes. ERP, Systems & Integration Leadership Serve as executive sponsor for ERP implementations, upgrades, and cross‑border system integrations. Lead the alignment of U.S. and Mexico financial systems into a standardized ERP environment. Drive consistency across: Chart of accounts Financial close processes Reporting structures Master data governance Partner with North American IT and finance systems teams to ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and scalability. Lead post‑acquisition or post‑expansion financial systems integration for U.S. and Mexico entities. International Accounting, Tax & Compliance Oversee statutory reporting and compliance for U.S. and Mexico entities. Coordinate with North American tax teams and external advisors on: Transfer pricing Intercompany transactions Cross‑border tax planning Withholding and indirect taxes Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, and regulatory requirements in Mexico. Manage foreign exchange exposure and cross‑border cash flows. FP&A, Budgeting & Performance Management Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for U.S. and Mexico operations. Develop KPIs and dashboards aligned with segment, division and global performance metrics. Provide financial insight into: Margin performance Cost structure Capital investments Project or installation profitability (if applicable) Support segment leadership with scenario analysis and strategic modeling. Governance, Controls & Risk Management Ensure strong internal controls and financial governance across both countries. Support SOX or SOX‑like control environments where applicable. Lead internal and external audit coordination for U.S. and Mexico entities. Establish and enforce finance policies consistent with segment and global standards. Leadership & Talent Development Build and lead high‑performing finance teams in the U.S. and Mexico. Develop succession plans and strengthen bench strength within finance. Promote collaboration between local teams and regionall finance counterparts. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and timeliness of global financial reporting Successful ERP and systems integration across U.S. and Mexico Forecast accuracy and budget performance Audit outcomes and control effectiveness Financial visibility and consistency across entities Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent strongly preferred Experience 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience Previous VP of Finance experience is a must Proven experience leading bi‑national or multi‑country operations, specifically U.S. and Mexico Direct reporting experience to a global or international parent entity Demonstrated leadership of ERP implementations and financial systems integration Experience in complex operational environments (manufacturing, industrial, construction, or project‑based preferred) Technical & Professional Skills Deep knowledge of: US GAAP and/or IFRS International accounting and reporting ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar) Strong understanding of: Intercompany accounting Transfer pricing FX and cross‑border cash management Executive‑level communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a matrixed, global organization Prior leadership in finance transformation or standardization initiatives Experience supporting M&A, carve‑outs, or expansions Multicultural leadership experience across U.S. and Mexico Core Competencies Corporate financial leadership Cross‑border systems and process integration Executive influence in matrix organizations Change management and transformation Data‑driven strategic decision‑making Working Conditions Office environment with significant cross‑border collaboration High accountability to segment and global finance leadership Regular interaction with segment, divisional and international executives Travel to Mexico and global headquarters as required We are the
