Controller

Description We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Financial Controller to lead plant-level accounting and help drive business performance. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with operations, improving processes, and turning financial data into actionable insights. As the Financial Controller, you'll oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and compliance while working closely with plant leadership and corporate accounting. You'll play a key role in supporting smart business decisions and improving overall plant performance.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead all plant accounting activities, including general ledger, AP, AR, and fixed assets + Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, forecasts, and performance reports + Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, capital planning, and strategic forecasting + Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, scrap, labor, overhead, and variances + Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance + Support monthly close, reconciliations, standard costing, and year-end activities + Partner with corporate accounting on internal controls, policies, and audit support + Lead financial systems improvements and help drive process efficiency + Manage and develop accounting staff in a collaborative team environment Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting + 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing + Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and cost accounting + Experience with budgeting, forecasting, inventory, and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment + Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills + Advanced Excel and financial systems experience Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
