Full time; Hours 8:00 AM -5:00 PM M-F; Occasional evening/weekend work may be required - Some travel may be required General Summary This position requires an emphasis on confidentiality and accuracy. The Controller performs a variety of accounting duties for the internal accounts of the bank and will perform regulatory reporting, audits and is responsible for bank training on facility security and robbery safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance Application Balancing to GL Bond Accounting/GL Reconciliation Regulatory Reporting Preparation of Financial Reports Prepaid & Fixed Asset Accounting Payables/Receivables Accounting Miscellaneous Account Balancing/Reconciliation Job descriptions and work assignments are subject to change as business needs and conditions require. Supervisors may assign job duties and tasks not listed in description at any time. Department Heads and members of the Management Team may also make additional job assignments. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
Associate's degree in accounting, business management or related field, or 3 years' experience in related field preferred Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word) Knowledge of Accounting Principles Good Verbal & Written Communication Skills Good Problem-Solving Abilities
