Job Description This Isn't a "Step Into" Role
  • It's a "Build It" Role We're partnering with a growing organization in the agriculture sector to hire a Financial Controller for a brand-new facility being built in the Seward, NE area.
This is a newly created role , not a backfill. You won't be inheriting someone else's processes-you'll be helping design, implement, and own the accounting function from day one .

  • You'll be the go-to person for all things accounting at this site What You'll Own Full ownership of accounting operations for the facility Financial reporting accuracy (P&L, balance sheet, general ledger) Internal controls and process development Month-end close and reconciliations Audit support and financial integrity Leadership of a small team (AP, payroll/HR, admin) Partnering with leadership on financial visibility and performance Who This Role Is Ideal For A Controller looking for more ownership and impact A Senior Accountant ready to step into a leadership role Someone who enjoys building and improving systems A professional who thrives in a growing, evolving environment What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (preferred) ~4+ years of accounting/finance experience (flexible for strong candidates) Strong attention to detail and accountability ERP system experience (implementation exposure is a plus) Manufacturing, operational, or cost accounting exposure preferred Leadership experience-or the desire and ability to grow into it Compensation & Benefits $85,000•$135,000 base salary (depending on experience) Annual bonus structure 100% employer-paid family health insurance Dental & vision options (low-cost) PTO flexibility for experienced hires Relocation assistance available Timing Target start: Summer through early Fall Ideal for someone who wants to get in early and help shape the operation before full ramp-up If You're the Right Person.
