• $135,000 Build Something From the Ground Up This is not a typical Controller role.

We're partnering with a growing organization in the agriculture sector that is launching a brand-new facility in the Seward, Nebraska area-and they're hiring a Financial Controller to help build the accounting function from the ground up. This is a newly created role , not a backfill. You won't be inheriting someone else's systems-you'll be helping design, implement, and own them.

• You will be the go-to person for all things accounting at this site What You'll Be Responsible For Owning all accounting operations for the facility Ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, GL, etc.

) Implementing and improving internal controls Leading month-end close and reconciliation processes Supporting audit activities Overseeing a small team (AP, payroll/HR, admin) Partnering with leadership and contributing to financial visibility and decision-making Working within a new ERP environment being implemented What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) ~4+ years of accounting or finance experience Strong attention to detail and accountability Experience with ERP systems (any platform) Exposure to manufacturing, operations, or cost accounting is a plus Leadership experience or readiness to step into leadership Who This Role Is Ideal For A Controller who wants more ownership and impact A Senior Accountant ready to step up into a leadership role Someone who enjoys building systems-not just maintaining them A professional who thrives in a growing, evolving environment Compensation & Benefits $85,000
