Job Description
KBW has partnered with a leading manufacturer in their search for an Assistant Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression with one of the premier companies in the area. Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller include: Manage daily accounting operations Assist with the preparation of financial statements Maintenance if internal controls Domestic and international tax filing Oversee the maintenance of accounting systems Devise and implement process improvements External audit coordination Variance analysis and reporting Lead and mentor the accounting team Participate in continuous improvement projects Requirements for the Assistant Controller include: Bachelor's in accounting, finance or business Masters and/or CPA strongly preferred More than four years accounting experience within public accounting or public/private mix Prior experience managing a team Strong systems skills including a large ERP and Excel fluency
