Our client located north of Keene, NH is looking for a Controller to manage financial and human resources operations! Your qualifications for the Controller position are as follows:- Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and 3-5 years of experience
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP and pivot tables) and accounting software experience (Foundation is a plus)
- Knowledge of/experience with GAAP, regulatory requirements, financial reporting, taxation, payroll, and audit preparation
- Experience administering HR policies
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy Benefits you will receive as the
Controller:
- $85K-$100K/year, depending on experience, plus bonus and profit sharing
- Direct-hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits For the Controller position your duties will include:
- Manage all financial and accounting activities (AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, monthly/quarterly/annual closing processes, account reconciliation, tax and compliance reporting, audit coordination, job costing, forecasting, and financial statement preparation)
- Administer full-cycle human resources activities (recruitment, hiring, benefits administration, employee relations, etc.)
- Manage insurance requirements and renewals
- Assist in purchasing assets for operations
- Work with leadership to foster a safe, productive work environment and ensure regulatory compliance
