Naprotek has an opening for a Controller. Working on a small high functioning team, this role will have the opportunity to impact the customer satisfaction by meeting demands and paying attention to details for incoming and outgoing materials and products. The Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls across two operating locations (Londonderry, NH and San Jose, CA). This role ensures timely and accurate financial information, drives financial performance, and partners with site leadership to support operational decision-making and business growth. Success in this role requires strong leadership, multi-site coordination, and a hands-on approach to both strategic and day-to-day financial management. As a Controller you would be excepted to: Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities across both sites Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close Prepare and review financial statements and variance analysis Maintain compliance with GAAP and company policies Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, and manufacturing cost structures Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning Establish and maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate finance teams Lead, mentor, and develop accounting/finance staff across both sites Standardize processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives across locations Support ERP systems, financial systems, and reporting tools optimization Expected to maintain consistent on-site presence and engagement with both teams
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred) 7-10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Prior experience as a Controller or senior finance leader preferred Multi-site or multi-entity experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls Experience in manufacturing, operations, or similar environment Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Proven leadership and team development capability Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations High attention to detail and accuracy Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability Controller would be expected to travel to San Jose, CA regularly (approximately 20%) If you are looking to find a company that has a culture of growth and development where you can really make a difference, then Naprotek is the place for you.
