Job DescriptionJob Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a manufacturing company. We are in search of a temporary assistant controller. The Interim Assistant Controller will stabilize close activities, support audits, and drive process improvements during a period of transition or peak workload. Ideal for a hands?on professional who can quickly integrate, assess gaps, and deliver results.

Compensation:
$50-$55 per hour (DOE) Immediate Priorities Own month?end close deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, intercompany). Produce GAAP?compliant financial statements; prepare flux analyses and management commentary. Support AP/AR continuity; address aged items and help optimize cash application/3?way match. Document and strengthen internal controls; implement quick?wins to reduce errors and cycle time. Prepare audit schedules; liaise with external auditors and respond to requests. Partner with operations on inventory accounting; assist with physical counts and cycle count enhancements. Identify and implement process improvements (ERP workflows, templates, checklists). Handle special projects requiring high attention to detail and confidentiality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4-5+ years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing exposure strongly preferred. Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency; ability to learn new systems quickly. Strong organizational skills; proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast?paced environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Work Environment & Requirements Ability to step, climb, sit for extended periods, type, and lift as needed. Work may occur in a cold, refrigerated plant environment . Occasional out?of?state travel may be required.
