  • Full-time About the Role Claims Resolution Corporation, Inc.
is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to lead accounting, financial reporting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) for our growing organization. As a trusted partner to executive leadership, you will deliver forward-looking financial insights that support profitable growth across our property & casualty claims management services. This role is highly visible and instrumental in aligning financial strategy with operational performance in a TPA/claims services environment , including oversight of both corporate financials and client (fiduciary) funds. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in insurance, TPA, or claims-related services , with a strong understanding of revenue drivers, cost structures, and regulatory considerations unique to the industry. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, financial close, and reporting Transition and maintain accrual-based, GAAP-compliant accounting Oversee client fund (trust) accounting , ensuring strict controls, reconciliations, and fiduciary compliance Manage revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including complex billing structures common in TPA/claims environments (e.g., fee-for-service, per-claim, and time-based billing) Drive financial reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and a strong internal control environment Own the FP&A function, including: Developing rolling forecasts tied to claims volume, staffing levels, and service demand Building dynamic financial models that reflect operational drivers such as claim counts, cycle times, and adjuster productivity Performing scenario and sensitivity analysis to support business decisions Analyze profitability by client, contract, and service line , identifying opportunities to improve margins and pricing Partner with executive leadership on growth strategy, pricing models, contract structuring, and client profitability optimization Develop and track KPIs relevant to claims operations , such as: Revenue per claim / per adjuster Cost per claim Utilization rates and staffing efficiency Client-level margins Oversee cash flow forecasting, including timing of client fund inflows/outflows and operating liquidity Improve processes through automation, systems optimization, and AI-driven analytics Build and develop a high-performing finance team with strong technical and analytical capabilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred; Master's preferred) 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership Strong preference for experience in: Third-Party Administration (TPA) Insurance (P&C preferred) Claims management or insurance services organizations Professional services firms with complex billing models Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606) Experience with client funds / trust accounting and fiduciary responsibilities Demonstrated expertise in financial planning & analysis, forecasting, and advanced financial modeling Proven ability to drive profitability and operational performance in a service-based business Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks Online preferred) Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills What Success Looks Like Accurate, timely, audit-ready financial reporting A scalable and reliable forecasting model aligned to claims volume and operational drivers Clear visibility into client-level profitability and cost drivers Improved margins through data-driven pricing, staffing, and operational decisions Strong internal controls across corporate and client funds Increased efficiency through automation and improved processes A high-performing, accountable finance team Why Join Us High-impact leadership role with direct executive visibility Opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a growing TPA/claims services organization Direct influence on client profitability, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency Ability to build a best-in-class FP&A function tailored to claims operations Opportunity to implement advanced analytics and AI-driven financial insights Collaborative, mission-driven organization serving public sector clients Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer Equal Opportunity Statement Claims Resolution Corporation, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
