Job Description

Company description Founded in 2004, p-value group has multiple agencies that provide full-service medical communications and top-rated speakers bureau services. Overview This position is the strategic lead for multiple accounts whose focus is on the global health of the agency. They must possess the ability to cultivate relationships with clients to manage, and steadily grow, current and prospective business. The VP provides leadership in spearheading integrated marketing solutions that best meet the goals and brand objectives. This role holds the department accountable for following standard operating procedures and reinforces p -value's best practices. Responsibilities Client Focus & Service Establishes and maintains strategic partnership with clients Represents the agency in all meetings, discussions, and communications involving the overall execution of work Provides executional insight and expertise across all department services and capabilities Has a working knowledge of general agency capabilities outside of department Be fully knowledgeable about all industry guidelines in order to recommend and guide client activity Have a working knowledge of client-specific compliance guidelines and offer recommendations and insight regarding gaps Provides download at bureau kick-offs to ensure full team understanding of client and answer queries Provides the client perspective throughout bureau development and execution. Reviews work in progress to ensure maintenance of quality standards and strategic alignment Maintains regular communication with client (as well as extended client team and agency partners, as needed) on overall state of account through monthly check-in calls/meetings Oversees portal management, launches, and testing Oversees expertise in client systems, processes, rules and regulations and supports the ongoing training, refreshing, and compliance of team members Attends onsite/virtual client/HCP trainings to ensure agency standards are being met and to build client relationships, as needed Monitors client/agency work for continuous improvement Alerts supervisor(s) of any issues on account that may affect client relationships, deliverables, or budgets Expands client relationships, maintains high client satisfaction, and develops strong agency advocates Organic Growth/Business Development Drives new and prospective business execution within account(s) and as assigned by supervisor, including the preparation of slide decks, comps, pitch materials, and proposals, working with Account Manager/Operations to develop estimates, as needed Proactively identifies business opportunities/risks across account and regularly communicates state of the union with supervisor and agency management Develop proposals and budgets based on opportunities and/or as outcomes from new business pitches, working with senior agency team Works collaboratively with senior agency team on identifying new opportunities for expanding current business; identifies areas within accounts where there are unmet educational and promotional needs based on understanding of client brand strategy; continues relationship maintenance with previous clients to leverage for future needs for the global health of the agency Leadership Performs with highest level of integrity and accountability and instill these values with team(s) and peers Includes team(s) in problem-solving and triaging issues to enforce commitment and accountability of each team member Ensures highest level of productivity is being met from each team member Oversees all team(s) are fully versed on specified client compliance and regulatory requirements; ensures knowledge and compliance with industry guidelines Encourages and support account leads to move outside of their comfort zone by providing additional and varying levels of responsibility and tasks, while balancing guidance and autonomy Oversees the direction, mentorship and development of teams consisting of an Account Manager, Team Lead, and Program Planner Understands the position description of all Speakers Bureau roles and how they translate to work in practice Provides mentorship and coaching to direct reports and creates and implements plans for their professional skill development, including regular coaching activities Writes and delivers annual performance evaluation and performance goals for direct reports, reflecting employee progress, contributions throughout the year, and expectations for the upcoming year Engages in quarterly touch points with team(s) to assess progress of development plan and provides summary report to supervisor(s) Identifies gaps in team resources early and make recommendations to senior leadership needed to meet program deliverables Demonstrates leadership through discussions and presentations to colleagues on relevant subjects Be available and accessible for all team members at any time Takes responsibility and accountability for the team(s) and bureaus Implements onboarding plan for new hires before they arrive on the job and manages new hires based on the plan Participates in succession planning and ranking activities, as warranted Business Knowledge/Operational Practices Makes interviews a priority to identify and select prospective candidates for team or agency Follows and reinforces agency standard operating procedures Actively participates in the design and execution of process change, as required for the team(s) Ability to adapt to change; drive and manage change within the agency Identifies and make recommendations for process improvements; identifies areas to improve efficiency with the goal of gaining incremental profit Gap fill in accounts, as needed, until resources are identified Communication Coordinates with other cross functional team leads to ensure a positive team dynamic to optimize work processes and to ensure efficiency and quality control Provides feedback and recommendations for process improvements and communicates to senior leadership Communicates agency updates to team(s) Financial Accountability Responsible for the overall financial health of accounts and understands how it impacts the global health of the agency Develops proposals and budget estimates based on client needs; ensures proposals clearly define scope of work and budgets are in line with scope of services; follows p -value review and approval process Oversees the management of the overall budgets for each bureau and advises account managers to notify clients of any potential increases or overages in a timely manner; reviews periodic accounting reports of expenditures for each bureau Oversees that reconciliations are completed in a timely manner Responsible for updating forecasting spreadsheets with sold as well as proposed business opportunities on a weekly basis Qualifications A minimum of 7 years agency experience, with a minimum of 4 years of progressive account management experience in medical communications or client-side product management Experience managing direct reports Travel as business requires Bachelor's degree Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Différence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. Compensation Range:
$149,340- $204,400 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
