PALFINGER
as a Controller, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting key accounting functions at our Trenton, NJ location. In this role, you will compile financial information, process journal entries, reconcile accounts, and analyze financial data to drive informed decision-making. You will partner closely with plant leadership to support manufacturing efficiencies, cost accountability, and operational performance. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who thrives in both hands-on execution and strategic partnership. Your Responsibilities Lead month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting activities for the location while contributing to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including preparation of balance sheets and income statements Maintain internal controls and accounting procedures while driving cost discipline and manufacturing efficiencies across the operation Provide analytical reporting and insights on financial results, trends, risks, opportunities, and profitability across products, customers, and investments Lead and develop the local finance team, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and partnering with plant leadership to improve performance Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of experience in a similar role, including GAAP experience and at least 3 years in a people leadership capacity Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence business decisions Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications; SAP experience or system conversion exposure is a plus Ability to prioritize work, adapt to change, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment What We Offer Competitive compensation: $130,000 - $145,000 base, plus bonus eligible Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Opportunity to work with a global, industry-leading organization We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
