Position Summary:
Wafra, a New York City based leading global investment firm with approximately $28 billion in assets under management, is seeking a Vice President in its Alternative Investments Division for immediate hire. The position will focus on Wafra's Real Assets and Infrastructure strategies, which targets control equity and structured capital investments across a broad range of industries and asset classes, including transportation, digital infrastructure, power & utilities and other infrastructure investments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Take a leadership position in deal teams analyzing infrastructure investment opportunities, including control equity and structured capital investments Manage quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective investments Create and present investment committee presentations Lead all aspects of investment management post-closing, including financing and disposition efforts Communicate effectively with team members, investment bankers, company management teams, counterparties and advisors
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and strong academic achievement from top?tier school(s) Minimum 7?10 years of experience, including as principal infrastructure investor Excellent quantitative skills with experience building financial models Self?motivated, strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Intellectual curiosity
Benefits/Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this role is $180,000 - $200,000. The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and actual base salary will be determined by several components including but not limited to an individual's experience, skill set and qualifications.
