Financial Controller

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Controller for a public-sector client supporting county-level financial operations. This individual will oversee the full accounting function, manage and mentor accounting staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. The Controller will play a key role in preparing the ACFR, coordinating audits, strengthening internal controls, and partnering with department leaders on financial planning and decision-making. This is a highly visible role ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with strong governmental accounting experience who can step in quickly and drive accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
