Job Description

Job Description Core Responsibilities:
Manage job costing and WIP reporting (earned vs billed, margins). Lead month-end close and financial reporting. Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital. Oversee payroll and compliance (union/non-union, certified payroll). Strengthen controls, audit readiness, and financial risk management. Lead accounting team and systems improvements.
Administer:
401k, employee benefits and policies, and insurance.
Qualifications:
5+ years accounting experience. Strong construction job costing and WIP experience. Cash flow and financial reporting expertise. Advanced Excel; accounting systems experience. Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred. Strong ERP systems (Sage or similar)
Preferred:
HVAC/mechanical contractor experience. Union/certified payroll experience.
