Job Description

Assistant Controller 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Wego Chemical Group LP is looking for an Assistant Controller to Prepare consolidated financial statements for external stakeholders, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and government filings; oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures, ensuring timely, efficient, and accurate financial reporting for internal management. This position is based in Great Neck, New York.
Required:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance/Commerce, Accounting or Business Analytics and 7 years of experience in supply chain finance in manufacturing, wholesale, or retail. In addition, the following specific skills are required: Certified Public Accountant License 7 years (5 w/ Master's Degree) of experience with Oracle, SQL, Tableau and PowerBi; 7 years (5 w/ Master's Degree) of experience analyzing and presenting data, insights, and recommendations to leadership; 7 years (5 w/ Master's Degree) of experience overseeing internal accountants and auditors; 7 years (5 w/ Master's Degree) of experience with international, multi-entity, and multi-currency operations; 7 years (5 w/ Master's Degree) of experience in informal, accessible, and collaborative small-team environments; 7 years (5 w/ Master's Degree) of experience in transactional accounting. 3 years (3 w/ Master's Degree) of experience managing company borrowing needs and investment funds; This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), $141,130 - $155,000 per year.
