Position Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Lead CPA in Lynbrook, NY to bring our accounting function fully in-house and lead it going forward. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Qualifications of the

Lead CPA:

Active CPA license in good standing. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Direct lending industry experience required. MCA experience strongly preferred. Specialty lending, commercial finance, or alternative lending also considered. Hands-on experience maintaining a P&L for a lending company. Prior experience managing an accounting team, with a track record of growing the function as the business scales. Responsibilities of the

Lead CPA:

Bring the accounting function fully in-house and own it going forward. Maintain the P&L across the company's lending entities. Own monthly close, financial reporting, and the integrity of the books. Build and refine accounting policies, controls, and processes that scale with the business. Manage and grow the accounting team as the company expands. Partner with the founders on capital structure, lender reporting, treasury, and cash management.
