Job Description

Description Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures to produce timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, including AR and AP specialists, to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Develop weekly cash flow forecasts and margin analysis reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the financial expert for the company's inventory and job costing systems, ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to protect company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with business goals. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with preference for advanced certifications.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management within manufacturing or inventory-focused industries.
  • Proficiency in navigating ERP and accounting systems, with experience in Adjutant being highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting principles and inventory valuation techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing small accounting teams.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling for accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting organizational goals.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
