iWorld Professionals is seeking a Vice President of Finance for our client in Syracuse NY. Base salary $200,000 - $225,000 plus bonus and strong comprehensive benefits package.

Vice President of Finance Position Overview:

iWorld Professionals is seeking a Vice President of Finance for a well-established, growth-oriented organization based in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, financial planning & analysis, treasury, and strategic finance. This position will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, driving financial strategy, enhancing decision-making, and building scalable financial infrastructure to support continued growth. This is an opportunity for a hands-on, strategic leader to make a significant impact across the organization. This is an on-site role and candidates must reside in or be able to commute to the Syracuse, NY area.

Vice President of Finance Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and growth initiatives Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and business case development for investments and expansion Oversee enterprise-level cash flow planning and working capital Assess financial risk and provide recommendations to support sustainable growth Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes Financial Reporting & Compliance Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements Present financial results and insights to executive leadership Drive improvements in reporting accuracy, timelines, and processes Accounting & Financial Operations Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AP, and AR Ensure strong internal controls and financial data integrity Partner with accounting leadership to ensure efficient close processes Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability Oversee tax planning and compliance across federal, state, and local levels Lead and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team Establish clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture focused on continuous improvement Strategic Growth & M&A Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration Evaluate new business opportunities and investments Monitor performance of strategic initiatives

Vice President of Finance Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required MBA or advanced degree preferred CPA designation preferred 10-15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience 5-7+ years in a senior leadership role Experience in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or similar industries preferred Strong expertise in financial strategy, FP&A, accounting operations, and treasury Strong leadership and team development capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills High level of integrity and professionalism Apply today to iWorld Professionals for immediate confidential consideration.
