This role oversees consolidated financial reporting (internal and external), financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and core finance operations including accounts payable, payroll, and financial systems/IT coordination. The Director ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes while providing actionable financial insights to support organizational decision-making. This position provides financial and administrative leadership by supporting the development and management of agency budgets, overseeing payroll, accounts payable, and reporting functions, coordinating financial and information technology systems, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with state requirements, and managing audit processes across all operating and affiliated entities. Key Responsibilities In consultation with the Chief Financial Officer, assists in the development of the agency budget process, including: Operational, Capital, and Cash Flow Budgets. Aids in agency-wide administrative and financial accounting processes in the areas of budgeting, reporting, accounts payable, payroll, cash flow management, risk management, contract management, management information systems, banking, and general accounting. Leads Management Information System operational planning to coordinate the deployment and management of current and future Management Information System resources across the agency to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the agency needs. Ensures timely reporting of internal financial reports to the programs and sites. Preparation of the Consolidated Fiscal Report and other State Agency reporting. Oversees the annual audit process for operating corporation and HUD Corporations including the coordination of necessary schedules and information. What We're Looking For Master's Degree in Business/Accounting & 3 or more years of management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting & 5-7 years of administrative financial management experience. Proven leadership in nonprofit finance, government contracts, and multi-source funding environments. Strategic thinking with a strong command of fiscal operations, budgeting, and compliance. Collaborative style with the ability to lead teams and work across departments. Passion for mission-driven work and advancing the inclusion of people with disabilities.
