Full Job Description Scope of Position :
We are looking for an experienced, self-starter and detail-oriented Controller to oversee financial operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, cost accounting, and plant management. The Controller will report into and partner with the Head of Finance. This person will play a crucial role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting and Analysis :
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Cost Accounting :
Monitor production costs, inventory levels, and cost allocations. Implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements. Conduct regular cost analysis to optimize resource allocation in coordination with department team members.
Internal Controls and Compliance :
Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and relevant regulations. Maintain and improve effective internal controls. Own/Coordinate audits and address audit findings.
Inventory Management :
Monitor inventory levels, valuation, and accuracy. Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory turnover. Improve Consigned Inventory (External Warehouse) Controllership Implement inventory control procedures including improving the Current Cycle Count process
Financial Leadership :
Provide financial guidance to plant management and operational teams. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
Credit Management:
Manage the Credit Process and drive credit management improvements. Assist in
Driving Cash Efficiencies Team Management :
Lead and develop a team of financial professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA is preferred). Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting. Proficiency with financial software (Epicor ERP/Grow/FP&A are a plus) as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc... Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented Energetic, flexible and proactive Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask Excellent communication skills Individual must have ability to make independent decisions that may be of a complex nature Individual must possess the interpersonal skills communicate with coworkers Excellent work ethic, including good attendance, and attention to detail Continually looking for ways to improve personal performance and company procedures.
