Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Dublin, Ohio. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead document management processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and document control, combined with expertise in GAAP accounting and variance analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee document control processes, including scanning, compiling, and organizing documents.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Lead month-end close activities, including consolidations and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Coordinate and implement efficient document scanning workflows.
- Review and improve processes related to financial reporting and documentation.
- Provide support for audits and ensure proper documentation is available.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline document management and financial procedures.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

- Proven experience in document control and document scanning processes.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in consolidations and month-end close activities.
- Ability to perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with compiling and organizing large volumes of documents.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools for managing reports and documentation.
