Job Description
Plant/Manufacturing Controller We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a growing food manufacturing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive financial performance, operational visibility, and strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing finance professional with strong cost accounting expertise , a deep understanding of plant operations, and experience supporting manufacturing leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions for the facility Manage month-end and year-end close processes Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models Provide operational and financial analysis to support business decisions Monitor manufacturing KPIs and identify opportunities to improve profitability Partner closely with plant leadership to drive financial performance Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Coordinate with external accounting partners and auditors Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA strongly preferred Previous experience as a Plant Controller, Manufacturing Controller, or similar manufacturing finance leadership role Strong cost accounting experience within a food manufacturing environment required Experience with inventory management, production costing, and financial reporting Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills Why Join Us?
