Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Director of Finance to join our executive leadership team. This is a high-impact position responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, accounting, information systems, facilities, fleet management, and corporate financial strategy. As a key member of Senior Leadership, you will partner directly with the President/CEO and executive team to drive financial performance, improve operational efficiency, provide business intelligence, and support the continued growth of our organization.
What You'll Do:
Financial Leadership Lead the company's overall financial strategy and planning. Direct cash management and forecasting. Prepare and manage the annual operating budget. Develop long-term financial plans and business projections. Maintain relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, and other financial partners. Prepare and present monthly financial reports and executive analyses. Oversee corporate treasury functions and assist with retirement and ESOP financial administration. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements. Coordinate corporate insurance programs and manage non-HR legal matters. Accounting Operations Lead the Accounting Department, including: Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll General Ledger Financial Reporting Internal Auditing Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. Maintain strong internal controls and financial integrity. Business Intelligence & Information Systems Oversee company information systems and financial software. Partner with operational leaders to develop meaningful reporting and performance metrics. Analyze trends and provide recommendations that improve profitability and operational effectiveness. Serve as the primary liaison with software vendors and technology partners. Facilities & Asset Management Oversee company facilities, leases, and major capital projects. Coordinate store renovations, relocations, and new site development. Manage utilities, maintenance contracts, signage, and vendor relationships. Assist with market analysis and expansion opportunities. Fleet Management Direct management of the company's delivery fleet and corporate vehicles. Oversee vehicle purchasing, replacement planning, maintenance, and disposal. Work to maximize vehicle safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. Operational Support Partner with Operations leadership to improve store performance. Conduct and oversee comprehensive operational audits.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience. 5+ years managing accounting teams.
Strong knowledge of:
Financial reporting Budgeting Cash flow management Internal controls Payroll GAAP Experience working directly with executive leadership. Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems experience. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) While not required, the following qualifications would be considered a plus: CPA, MBA, or other advanced finance or business credentials. Experience in a multi-location retail, rent-to-own, or consumer finance environment. Familiarity with ERP systems, retail management software, or other enterprise business systems. Experience with ESOP administration, corporate treasury functions, or strategic financial planning.
