There is never a fee for our services. Growing manufacturer that has recently expanded is seeking a Manufacturing Controller. As the Manufacturing Controller you will be part of a five person site leadership team, will report to the Head of Global Finance and work closely with the Site Manager. You will be responsible for the following tasks:Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and on-time completion. Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to guide strategic decision-making.Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead site-level budget development and forecasting procedures to align with organizational goals.Risk Management & Compliance:
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies. Serve as the Site Compliance Officer, ensuring all activities adhere to legal requirements, corporate guidelines, and updated regulatory standards.Cost & Capital Control:
Manage site expenditures, including CapEx, credit, and operational costs, ensuring they remain within approved budgetary limits.Strategic Leadership:
Act as a key member of the site leadership team, contributing to profitability measures and long-term site health.Process Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial workflows and enhance operational efficiency.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Maintain strong partnerships with external vendors and banks while coordinating closely with global business units, corporate HQ, and shared service centers (tax, treasury, and credit).Audit Support:
Facilitate and support both internal and external audit requirements to ensure transparency and accountability.Mentorship & Coaching:
Provide direct guidance and professional development to the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. for theManufacturing Controller:
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relatable field, ideally Accounting or Finance 2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar Plant Controller role in manufacturing 3. Budgeting and forecasting 4. Month-end and year-end closing 5. General understanding of cost accounting 6. Experience partnering with operations on accounting projects 7. Supervision of others 8. Experience working with ERP systems 9. Microsoft Office, including strong MS Excel skills Skills preferred but NOT required: 1. SAP 2. International business 3. Certifications 4.
