Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM About the Role Tier One Pools & Patios is Oklahoma City's fastest-growing pool and outdoor living construction company. We build custom inground pools and complete outdoor living environments across the full OKC metro, with projects ranging from $35,000 to $150,000+. We are looking for a Controller to own two critical functions in our business: the company's financial records and the operational sequence that gets every project from signed contract to construction-ready. This is not a back-office accounting job. You will manage QuickBooks, payroll, and project-level P&L; — and you will also own the post-close checklist for every project: filing 811 utility locates, pulling permits, ordering pool shells and equipment, managing Google Drive project folders, and coordinating delivery schedules with our production team. If you want a role where no two days look the same and your work directly affects whether projects get built on time, this is it. What You'll Own Financial & Bookkeeping Full QuickBooks management — chart of accounts, job costing, expense coding, bank reconciliation Six-category expense coding system applied to every transaction Accounts payable and accounts receivable — vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, client draw collections Weekly financial summary for Tuesday operations meeting Weekly one-page financial snapshot delivered to the CEO Payroll processing — Tuesday night cutoff, Friday paychecks — every cycle without exception Per-project P&L; from deposit received through completion Job cost analysis on every completed project compared to original estimate Project Operations (Post-Close) File Oklahoma 811 utility locate requests the same day a deposit is received Apply for all required construction permits with city and county jurisdictions Order pool shells from manufacturers (Hydra, Aqua Technics, Superior) and all project equipment Coordinate material delivery timing with the production build schedule Send manufacturer blueprints to clients via DocuSign Manage Google Drive project folders through the pipeline:

Place 811 verification dates directly on sales rep calendars What We're Looking For Proven experience with QuickBooks — job costing and project tracking experience strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Detail-oriented with a zero-backlog mindset — receipts processed same day, records always current Comfortable with permit applications, vendor coordination, and operational follow-through Proactive communicator — surfaces problems to leadership before they become bigger problems Construction or trades industry experience is a plus but not required Able to work on-site Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM in Oklahoma City Why Tier One Stable, full-time salaried position with consistent schedule Fast-growing company — you'll have real responsibility and direct access to ownership Your work has visible impact: projects don't go to construction without your sign-off Family-owned business that operates with high standards and takes pride in its product
