Plant Controller Fuse3 Solutions Oklahoma City, OK Job Details 8 hours ago Qualifications Cost accounting analysis Internal controls Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Plant Controller - Owasso, OK Our client is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to serve as the lead finance partner for a manufacturing facility about 30 minutes from Owasso. This position will oversee all plant accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls while partnering closely with operations leadership to drive performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all plant accounting and month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis, operational insights, and strategic recommendations. Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, fixed assets, capital expenditures, and project accounting. Manage annual budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and performance reporting. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements. Identify process improvements that enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Lead and develop plant accounting staff while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within manufacturing. Strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Public accounting experience preferred. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and manufacturing accounting practices. Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards is a plus.
