We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Financial Administration to lead financial operations, reporting, and advisory services across a portfolio of dynamic client organizations. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight—while also building and leading a high-performing accounting team. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, internal teams, and decision makers, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable guidance. What You'll Do Financial Leadership & Client Advisory Own financial reporting and accounting operations across multiple client accounts Review monthly financials for accuracy, GAAP compliance, and insights Present financial results and guidance to executive teams and Board of Directors (as applicable) Translate financial concepts into clear insights for non-financial decision makers Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~8 accounting professionals Manage hiring, onboarding, and performance management Foster a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis Lead annual budgeting and cash flow planning processes Develop forecasts and financial trajectories to guide decision-making Provide proactive analysis to identify risks and opportunities Cash Management, Banking & Investments Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning Manage banking relationships and account structures Implement controls, fraud prevention tools, and payment systems Support investment strategies and deployment of surplus cash Audit, Compliance & Controls Lead annual audits and serve as primary liaison with external auditors Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Strengthen internal controls and mitigate financial and operational risks Oversee sales tax and regulatory filings Operations & Process Improvement Establish and improve accounting systems, policies, and reporting processes Support client onboarding and financial infrastructure setup Drive efficiencies and scalability across financial operations What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred) 8+ years of progressive accounting/financial leadership experience Experience managing teams and leading financial operations in a multi-entity or client services environment Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, and regulatory compliance Proven ability to communicate complex financial insights to diverse audiences Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Why Join Us Work with innovative clients across diverse industries High-impact, leadership role with strategic visibility Collaborative, team-oriented culture Opportunity to shape financial operations and client success Competitive compensation and benefits Ready to Apply If you're ready to step into a leadership role where you can drive both financial excellence and strategic impact, we'd love to hear from you.
