Job Description

Position Overview The Co-Controller will work closely with the Controller/CEO to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic financial initiatives. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both hands-on accounting and leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and journal entries Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Coordinate audits and work with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies Supervise and mentor accounting staff Partner with leadership on strategic financial planning and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred or required—customize as needed) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry) Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Leadership experience or desire to grow into a leadership role What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
Pay:
$35.00 - $42.00 per hour
