Position Overview:
The Controller is a detail-oriented individual that oversees financial operations across our 3 locations. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing accounting, leadership and analytical thinking skills. This individual will have a measurable impact on the organization and will embrace growth and continuous improvement. Position Responsibilities- Oversee financial reporting and ensure accounting accuracy
- Maintain organized financial statements
- Provide budgeting, forecasting, margin/profitability analysis as well as cost management strategies to support overall strategic planning
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly accounting workflows
- Enhance financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and timeliness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure financial and regulatory compliance, documentation control and audit readiness
- Maintain licensing, documentation, compliance and legal requirements
- Supervise and mentor staff Position Qualifications
- BA/BS in Accounting, Business or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in an equivalent position
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial reporting tools required
- Advanced analytical and reconciliation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
- Proven leadership and communication skills and collaboration among teams
- CPA preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles (GAAP preferred)
