Controller

We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead core accounting operations and provide reliable financial insight for a growing manufacturing organization. This position will oversee day-to-day financial activities, strengthen internal processes, and support executive leadership with clear reporting, forecasting, and business recommendations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capability, and a background managing financial performance in a construction or project-based environment.

Responsibilities:

Direct all core accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll, and cash managementProduce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnhance KPIs, operational reporting, job costing, and margin analysis across manufacturing operationsCollaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategyLead inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variance analysisStrengthen internal controls and refine accounting processes to support scalable growthManage annual audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors, banks, and tax advisorsOversee cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planningSupport pricing strategy, contract profitability, and key operational decisionsDrive ERP optimization, reporting improvements, and process efficienciesEnsure GAAP compliance and meet all applicable government or aerospace reporting requirementsMentor and develop staff while building a high-performing, scalable finance team
