Mechanicsburg, PA We are partnering with a client to hire for an Assistant Controller to support daily accounting operations and assist in leading the accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accountant with strong Excel skills and an interest in process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Support month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with cash forecasting, reconciliations, and weekly financial reporting Maintain fixed assets, inventory, and construction-in-process accounts Prepare tax filings and support external audits Assist with internal controls and process improvements Supervise and support accounting staff as needed Bachelor's degree in Accounting. At least 2 years of accounting experience; public accounting exposure is preferred. Strong working knowledge of month-end close, general ledger activity, and financial reporting. Experience with account reconciliations, cash forecasting, cash reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated attention to detail, sound analytical ability, and strong problem-solving skills. Self-directed approach to work, eagerness to learn, and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
