With continued expansion across multiple service lines and locations, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Finance & Administration to join our leadership team. This is a key leadership role responsible for financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, revenue cycle oversight, payroll controls, audit support, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader who enjoys building systems, improving accountability, solving complex operational challenges, and supporting rapid organizational growth. Position Summary The Director of Finance & Administration will oversee the financial and administrative functions of the Company, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, effective cash flow management, and operational accountability. This position will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to support growth, improve financial visibility, strengthen internal controls, prepare for audits, and build the infrastructure necessary to scale a rapidly growing healthcare organization. The successful candidate will supervise the Company's bookkeeping function, work closely with outside accounting professionals, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership Oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor profitability, expenses, margins, and operational performance. Present financial reporting and recommendations to executive leadership. Cash Flow & Forecasting Develop and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts. Monitor company liquidity and working capital. Analyze reimbursement trends and collection performance. Develop budgeting and forecasting models. Identify opportunities to improve cash flow and financial performance. Revenue Cycle & Accounts Receivable Oversight Monitor billing, collections, and accounts receivable performance. Review aging reports and collection strategies. Track payer reimbursement trends, denials, adjustments, and outstanding claims. Work closely with billing teams to maximize collections and reduce aging. Develop reporting related to payer and revenue cycle performance. Payroll & Administrative Oversight Review payroll processes and internal controls. Monitor labor costs, overtime trends, and workforce expenditures. Assist leadership with departmental budgets and financial accountability. Develop reporting systems and administrative controls to improve efficiency. Audit & Compliance Support Assist with Medicaid, Managed Care Organization (MCO), licensing, and regulatory audits. Coordinate financial documentation requests. Assist with repayment plans, recoupments, and audit responses. Support internal compliance and risk management initiatives. Ensure financial records remain organized, accurate, and audit-ready. Accounting Oversight Supervise the Company's bookkeeping function and accounting processes. Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial records. Work closely with the Company's bookkeeper and outside CPA/accounting professionals. Maintain strong financial controls and reporting standards. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Strategic Planning & Growth Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning discussions. Assist with growth initiatives, expansion projects, and operational planning. Develop financial models, projections, and performance dashboards. Support future financing, acquisition, and strategic initiatives as needed. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of accounting, finance, controller, or financial management experience. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Home Care, Home Health, Behavioral Health, Healthcare, Human Services, or Medicaid experience. Experience working with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). Experience supporting audits, recoupments, and regulatory reviews. Knowledge of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management. Experience supervising bookkeeping and accounting functions. Familiarity with QuickBooks, HHAeXchange, PROMISe, Sandata, or related systems. CPA, MBA, Controller, or Director-level experience preferred but not required.
