Job Description

Kensington Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Hospital Controller to lead our accounting team and ensure fiscal responsibility. The Controller is responsible for the overall financial management of the hospital, including preparation of monthly financial statements, net revenue analysis, and expense monitoring. You will work closely with executive leadership to guide strategic financial decisions and enforce internal controls.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial aspects (accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, purchasing, etc.) Supervise the production and accuracy of financial documents, including balance sheets and income statements. Monitor actual spending vs. budgetary allotments and report variances. Oversee month-end closing, audit preparation, and reporting to board of directors. Manage revenue cycle processes to optimize cash flow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master's preferred. 5+ years of experience in healthcare accounting, with 2+ years in a management role. Proficiency in Information Technology systems.
