Pittsburgh, PA $120K- $150K We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and financial operations across multiple entities. This role is ideal for a construction, real estate, or equipment leasing accounting professional who excels in job costing, process improvement, and team leadership.

OVERVIEW OF THE CONTROLLER ROLE

Oversee month-end and year-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting. Manage job costing, contractor invoices, vendor payments, and inter-company allocations. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies. Lead system implementations and process improvements. Mentor and manage accounting staff, maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CONTROLLER ROLE

Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 5+ years of accounting experience in construction, real estate, or equipment leasing. Strong ERP and Excel skills; experience with system implementation a plus. Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities. #
