Job Description:
Controller (42463) Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area that's looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 6+ years of experience, analytical, and who has excellent leadership skills. This company offers a collaborative culture, flexibility, and a strong, tenured team. This position is hybrid after training is complete. The salary for this job is $90k - $110k. The Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Final review and oversight of all accounting and financial reporting Ensure accuracy of journal entries and technical accounting work Oversee budget, annual reporting, and federal/state compliance deadlines Manage complex funding streams Ensure all reporting ties out and meets regulatory/statutory requirements Work closely with external auditors (state & federal audits) High-level oversight vs. doing transactional work Responsible for validating team output and ensuring financial accuracy across the organization The Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred 6+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including supervisory experience Strong analytical capabilities with an aptitude for problem solving and process improvement Functions at a high level when working independently or in a group Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Equal Opportunity Employer The compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
