What You Will Actually Do:

Strategic Oversight:

Own the month-end and year-end close process for a portfolio of clients, ensuring every balance sheet is supported by impeccable workpapers.

Technical Authority:

Serve as the primary resource for non-profit standards, including fund accounting, grant tracking, and donor restrictions.

Team Mentorship:

Review work prepared by staff, providing actionable feedback and delegating effectively to maintain high-quality, consistent deliverables.

Systems Integration:

Reconcile data across multiple cloud-based platforms, leveraging technology and automation to eliminate manual bottlenecks.

Portfolio Management:

Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritizing risks and ensuring all projects stay within scope and on schedule. To Be Successful in

This Role, You Will Need:

Controller-Level Expertise:

Proven experience in a Controller capacity with a mastery of technical and GAAP accounting.

Non-Profit Specialization:

Required experience in fund accounting, grants, and non-profit compliance. The "Reviewer"

Mindset:

A disciplined approach to oversight with the ability to manage multiple closes at once.

Leadership Skills:

Ability to lead through delegation in a leveraged team environment.

Adaptability:

A self-starter attitude comfortable in a fast-paced, growing firm where processes are evolving.

Credentials:

CPA or equivalent certification is preferred; experience in a Client Advisory Services environment is a major plus.

K Bonus Potential:
