Direct Hire Pay up to $165k Excellent benefits offered including medical, dental, 401k w/ match, PTO Hybrid schedule Controller Responsibilities include: Lead and manage the full accounting cycle, including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll-related accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close. Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP. Manage and develop an accounting team, including direct oversight of AP, AR, staff/senior accountants, and accounting leadership. Prepare, review, and present financial statements, management reports, variance analyses, and key financial metrics. Partner closely with executive leadership, operations, project management, and global finance teams to support strategic decision-making. Oversee project accounting, job costing, revenue recognition, WIP reporting, billing, collections, and construction-related financial processes. Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, and workflow efficiencies. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning initiatives. Lead audit preparation, tax support, compliance reporting, and coordination with external advisors. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable accounting practices to support company growth. Ensure strong financial discipline across departments and provide guidance on accounting best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA strongly preferred; CPA required if needed for client/company standards. 8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience required. Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership experience required. Experience managing an accounting team required. Strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, AP, AR, general ledger, internal controls, and audit support. Commercial construction, construction services, project-based accounting, or global company experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition, job costing, WIP reporting, and cost. Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/accounting system experience.

Up to $165,000.00 per year
