Job Description
Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead finance and accounting for a growing hospitality group operating multiple restaurant concepts in the Dallas area. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations while providing financial insight to support operational and strategic decisions. This is an opportunity for a finance leader who enjoys building structure, improving systems, and working closely with ownership and operations in a dynamic hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Prepare and manage financial statements, reporting, and reconciliations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Establish accounting processes, controls, and reporting standards
- Manage and optimize financial systems, including restaurant back-office platforms
- Collaborate with operations leadership on labor, food cost, and profitability metrics
- Support vendor relationships, purchasing processes, and cost controls
- Manage and develop accounting support staff as the department grows What We're Looking For
- Strong accounting foundation with experience managing financial statements and reporting
- Background in multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or similar operational environments
- Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems (Restaurant365 experience preferred)
- Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for operators and ownership
- Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where structure and processes are still evolving
- Collaborative leadership style with strong communication skills Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Experience supporting multi-unit operations
- CPA or advanced finance credentials are a plus Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule (four days in office, one remote)
- Office located in the Dallas area
