Full Job Description Job Title:

Controller Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to lead our accounting team. This role focuses on enhancing audit processes, driving ERP advancements, and fostering a high-performance team culture. The Controller will be pivotal in transforming our compliance framework and ensuring our accounting processes are both scalable and efficient. Responsibilities Lead the external audit process and SEC reporting, utilizing digital workpapers and collaborative platforms to streamline evidence collection and ensure accuracy. Build and mentor a world-class accounting team, fostering continuous improvement, curiosity, and digital literacy. Evaluate, implement, and integrate advanced ERP enhancements and automation tools to reduce manual interventions and achieve near real-time financial visibility. Design and implement lean, scalable workflows across global general ledger functions, payroll, and transaction accounting to support rapid company growth. Transform the compliance framework from manual testing to automated, continuous monitoring to embed data integrity and accounting policies. Partner with the CFO and other business leaders to define and automate the tracking of key financial health metrics and insights. Essential Skills 10+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role within a high-growth, technology-driven public company (SEC/SOX). Deep proficiency in US GAAP and the ability to translate technical standards into system logic. CPA or equivalent is highly preferred. Ability to explain complex technical accounting treatment to business partners. Experience solving complex structural problems independently under tight timelines. Track record of migrating manual accounting environments to automated systems. Experience with global manufacturing and complex supply chains. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Experience managing international statutory structures is a plus. Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders to adopt new tools and maintain disciplined data habits. Work Environment This role operates on a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility between remote work and in-office collaboration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pleasanton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $138.00 - $187.00/hr.
