Work Arrangement:
Hybrid Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Controller (CPA) to lead accounting operations, oversee the close process, and drive continuous process improvements in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This role is ideal for a strategic yet tactical leader who enjoys building scalable processes, improving reporting accuracy, and partnering with executive leadership to support business growth. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Close Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and supporting schedules Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and account analysis Establish close timelines and improve reporting efficiency Accounting Operations Manage general ledger activities across multiple entities Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies Review complex transactions and provide technical accounting guidance Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures Oversee cash management and treasury functions Audit & Compliance Serve as primary liaison for external audits and financial reviews Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory partners Support audit deliverables, compliance filings, and tax processes Process Improvement & Systems Identify and implement process improvements and automation Support ERP enhancements and system implementations Partner cross-functionally to improve financial data accuracy Qualifications Required Active CPA license Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
Experience leading month-end/year-end close Multi-entity and multi-state experience NetSuite and advanced Excel proficiency Audit coordination experience Preferred Public accounting background Private equity experience Experience with acquisitions or consolidations What We're Looking For Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive, solutions-driven problem solver Focused on accuracy, process improvement, and scalability
Pay Details:
