Our client, a private equity-backed, multi-product and services platform, is seeking a Director of Corporate Reporting to lead executive-level financial reporting and support communication across senior leadership and key external stakeholders. This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, business performance, strategy, and executive storytelling within a complex, multi-entity environment. This individual will play a critical role in shaping how financial performance is communicated, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting deliverables. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of financial reporting, experience operating in fast-paced environments, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for executive audiences (Private Equity sponsor, Board of Directors, and executive leadership). RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the preparation and delivery of executive and board-level reporting materials, including periodic financial packages and strategic updates. Develop clear and concise financial narratives, translating business performance into insights for senior stakeholders. Own the monthly reporting cadence, ensuring timely delivery of financial results with meaningful variance analysis and commentary. Support reporting requirements related to external stakeholders, including lenders or investors, ensuring alignment with established expectations. Drive the annual planning process, including consolidation of financial statements, forecasts, and long-range planning outputs. Prepare and maintain budget vs. actual analysis, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities. Build and enhance executive dashboards and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure reporting outputs align with governance standards and internal controls, maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency. Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to gather inputs and validate financial information. Serve as a strategic partner to senior finance leadership, providing insight into performance trends and business drivers. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data quality across systems. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required. 8-10+ years of progressive experience in corporate reporting, FP&A, or related finance functions. Proven experience preparing materials for executive leadership, board-level audiences, or external stakeholders. Strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet dynamics. Experience operating within complex or multi-entity organizations, ideally in high-growth or sponsor-backed environments. Ability to translate financial data into clear, concise, and actionable insights. Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders across multiple teams. Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., FP&A platforms, BI tools) preferred. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
