President/CPO The Opportunity RHONDOS is the recognized leader in SAP security and observability, trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises to secure mission-critical systems. As we scale, sharp financial thinking isn't a nice-to-have — it's central to how we make decisions. This is a high-trust, high-impact finance leadership role at the center of a growing global enterprise. You will own the financial operating system of the business — from planning and modeling to controls and compliance — while serving as a direct strategic partner to the President and CEO. This is not a back-office role. You will be in the room for key decisions, building the analytical foundation that drives how the business grows. If you thrive in lean, high-output environments, love getting your hands on complex models, and want your work to directly shape company direction — this role is built for you What You'll Own Financial Planning & Reporting Own the annual budgeting process and maintain a rolling view of financial performance and trajectory Maintain and improve RHONDOS' existing financial model — leveraging AI tools to accelerate scenario planning, analysis, and reporting Produce timely, accurate financial reporting for the President and CEO Own the month-end close process in partnership with the Manager HR & Finance and external accountants Manage external audit and tax relationships; ensure all obligations are met accurately and on time Maintain the banking relationship with Bank ofAmerica; evaluate Treasury options as needs evolve Financial Controls & Compliance Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls Own vendor and contract financial review — ensuring commitments are understood and tracked Manage financial risk and surface material exposure to leadership Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations Compensation & Bonus Plan Design Own the design and maintenance of RHONDOS' compensation structure — salary bands, job levels, and total compensation frameworks Design, model, and maintain bonus and incentive plans across the organization — ensuring plans are affordable, aligned with business performance, and driving the right outcomes Build and maintain commission frameworks for commercial roles in partnership with Sales Leadership Bring compensation and plan design recommendations to the HR Committee for approval Business Partnership Partner directly with the President and CEO on strategic decisions with financial implications Provide the analytical foundation for pricing, hiring, investment, and growth decisions Contribute financial perspective to HR Committee discussions on people cost and headcount Support commercial leaders with financial analysis and deal structure where needed Contract Review & Legal Liaison Serve as the internal go-between for legal matters — coordinating with outside counsel and managing the flow of documents, timelines, and action items Conduct light first-pass review of contractual language across NDAs, vendor agreements, partner contracts, and SOWs — flagging financial risk, payment terms, liability exposure, and unusual clauses before escalating to legal Own the contract review pipeline: intake, routing, status tracking, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks Support leadership in understanding financial and business implications embedded in contract terms Team Leadership Directly manage the Manager HR & Finance Accountable for the output and quality of the Finance function as a whole What This Role Doesn't Include HR operations, policy, or employee relations — owned by the HR Committee Individual compensation decisions or exceptions — require HR Committee approval Payroll execution — owned by Manager HR & Finance through Gusto EOR coordination — owned operationally by Manager HR & Finance through Deel and Rivermark What You Bring Required 8-15 years of progressive finance experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or near leadership role Demonstrated experience owning financial planning, modeling, and reporting — not just contributing to it Advanced Excel modeling skills — you can work within, maintain, and improve a complex existing model Comfort using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of your daily analytical workflow Experience in a small or growth-stage company — you know what it means to operate without a large team Strong business acumen and a proven track record of influencing decisions at the leadership level Clear, confident communicator — you translate complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders Stong Preference Experience designing or owning compensation structures and/or bonus/incentive plan design Prior background as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Director of Finance at a company with $10M- 100M in revenue Exposure to HR financial oversight — headcount planning, benefits cost management, people cost modeling Familiarity with SaaS or enterprise software business models Nice to Have Experience with EOR providers (Deel, Rivermark, or similar) from a financial oversight perspective Background in international operations or multi-country financial management CPA, CFA, or MBA The Standard We are a small, high-output organization.
Pay:
$120,000.00- $140,000.
