About The Role Reporting to the President with a dotted line to the Head Office in Australia, this senior role is pivotal in planning, administering and reviewing the financial and accounting activities of all US-entities, including budgeting, cashflow, forecasting, reporting, payroll, tax compliance, inventory control, import cost accounting, project-related financial oversight, and administration. You will be required to undertake an array of duties required from an all-rounder, including ownership of the following: leadership & strategy; payroll & taxation; inventory & cost control; imports & international cost accounting; project accounting & budgeting; management accounting; cash flow & finance management; reporting & analysis; and general administration. You will bring a strong background in finance and accounting, with hands-on experience managing cross-functional financial operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. About You This is a Senior-level position and in order to be successful, you will need to meet the following: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or senior accounting roles. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards. Hands-on experience with payroll systems and tax filings. Proficiency in inventory and cost accounting principles. Experience with import/export processes and international finance is a strong advantage. Proficiency with financial software (NetSuite). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or import/export business is not essential but nice to have.
